What Fossils can you find at Vinnels?


(Vinnels) - 2003

Vinnals is probably one of the best places for guaranteed Trilobites in Shropshire, Tails and Heads are by far the most common and complete specimens are much rarer since the bodies dissolved or split away during fossilisation. Vinnals is also good for Graptolites though they are quite worn and faded hear and unless treated soon after collecting, will fade.
